• Design and prototype the user experience for a technology startup
• Work with development and product management to define user interfaces
• Enable the user to get maximal benefits with minimal effort

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• 3+ years product design experience, ideally for web or mobile
• Comfortable with writing and editing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Understanding of technologies such as XML, JSON, and AJAX
• Passion for usability
• Strong desire to present data informatively
• Portfolio of design projects
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to learn and adapt in a rapidly changing environment

Desired:

• Experience in usability testing
• Interest in visual or other arts
• Comfortable in a Unix environment
