Bennett Carroccio

Bennett Carroccio is a partner on the venture investing team, specializing in early stage and venture consumer-facing technology investments. His focus areas include vertical marketplaces, real estate (proptech), logistics, and social networks.

Before joining Andreessen Horowitz in 2017, Bennett worked in business development at Omniata, an engagement analytics platform for mobile apps that was acquired by King (the studio behind Candy Crush) in late 2016. Bennett also spent time at Heighten, a sales optimization platform, which was acquired by LinkedIn, the Fixed Income Strategy desk at Jefferies & Co, and the Government Development Bank of Puerto Rico.

Bennett graduated with distinction from Yale University, where he studied Economics and Sociology with a focus in Markets and Society. While at Yale, he was a member of the national championship winning men’s varsity ice hockey team.

Bennett lives in San Francisco and is a proud New York native. Outside of the office, he enjoys exploring the outdoors, diving into Wikipedia rabbit holes, particularly on military history, and is an avid fan of the New York Yankees.
