Elizabeth Harkavy

Liz is a partner on the a16z crypto investment team. Liz focuses on web 2.5 / picks and shovels as well as decentralized infrastructure. Prior to joining a16z crypto, Liz was a founding engineer at Corsali (now Vana), a venture backed full stack machine learning platform that is powered by highly educated workers labeling data to earn crypto from their phones. Prior to that she spent time at Facebook and JPL, where she performed research on utilizing reinforcement learning to optimize a delay tolerant network node that she presented at the IEEE Aerospace conference.

Liz completed her bachelor's in Physics and Computer Science as well as her master's in Computer Science at MIT where she graduated Phi Beta kappa.
