Anthony Noto is the CEO of SoFi and serves on its board of directors. Since joining SoFi in February 2018, Anthony has led the company to double down on its mission of helping its over five million members get their money right, taking the company public in June of 2021 at an $8.65B valuation. Before joining SoFi, he served as Chief Operating Officer of Twitter since November 2016, and as its Chief Financial Officer when joining the company in July 2014. Prior to Twitter, Anthony served for almost four years as Co-Head of Global TMT Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs. Before returning to Goldman, Anthony spent almost three years as Chief Financial Officer of the National Football League. A graduate of the U.S. Military Academy, Anthony also holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
Cathie registered ARK Investment Management LLC (“ARK”) as an investment adviser with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in January 2014. Focused solely on disruptive innovation, ARK aims to identify large-scale investment opportunities in the public markets resulting from technological innovations centered around genome sequencing, robotics, artificial intelligence, energy storage, and blockchain technology.
Prior to ARK, Cathie spent twelve years at AllianceBernstein as Chief Investment Officer of Global Thematic Strategies where she managed over $5 billion. Cathie joined Alliance Capital from Tupelo Capital Management, a hedge fund she co-founded which, in 2000, managed $800 million in global thematic strategies. Prior to her tenure at Tupelo Capital, she worked for 18 years with Jennison Associates as Chief Economist, Equity Research Analyst, Portfolio Manager and Director. She started her career in Los Angeles, California at The Capital Group as an Assistant Economist. Cathie received her Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude, in Finance and Economics from the University of Southern California in 1981.
In 2018, editors at Bloomberg acknowledged Cathie by selecting her to its second annual Bloomberg 50 list of people across business, entertainment, finance, politics, technology, and science who have defined global business. Additionally, Fortune named Cathie to its exclusive roundtable of experts in the annual Fortune Investors Guide: The Best Investing Advice for 2019 From Fortune’s Experts. In 2016, Cathie received the “Women in Finance – Outstanding Contribution Award” from Market Media, and she was a featured speaker at the World Economic Forum (China) in 2016 & 2017, and the World Strategic Forum (Miami) in 2017.
Jackie Reses is the Chair and CEO of Lead Bank, a community bank in Kansas City. Previously, she was the Executive Chairman of Square Financial Services and Capital Lead and Head of the People Team at Block Inc (Square). Prior, she had leadership positions at Yahoo! and was a Partner at Apax Partners Worldwide. Jackie also spent seven years at Goldman Sachs in mergers and acquisitions and the principal investment area.
Jackie is on the board of directors of Endeavor, Affirm and Nubank. Previously, she served on the Board of Directors of Alibaba Group.
She has been named one of Forbes “Self Made Women”, Fast Company’s “Most Creative People in Business,” and American Banker “Most Powerful Woman in Finance”. She holds multiple patents in payments and cryptocurrency.
Jelena McWilliams is Managing Partner of the Washington, D.C. office and Head of the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Practice. She is a former Chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Ms. McWilliams focuses her practice on advising public and private companies, financial institutions, fintechs, and early stage and venture companies on regulatory and corporate matters, as well as on mergers and acquisitions, IPO and other capital markets transactions
Kristo Käärmann is cofounder and CEO of Wise, formerly known as TransferWise. Today, Wise is serving international banking for individuals, for SMB and embedded services for enterprise through Wise Platform. It moves ~$100bn in cross border transfers and holds $10+bn international deposits.
Max Levchin is the founder and CEO of Affirm, cofounder and Chairman of Glow, and cofounder and general partner at SciFi VC. All three companies were launched from his innovation lab, HVF. Max was an original co-founder of PayPal, where he served as CTO until its acquisition by eBay in 2002. In 2004, he founded Slide, which he sold to Google in 2010, and he helped start Yelp, where he was the first investor and Chairman from 2004 to 2015. He has served on several boards including Yahoo!, Yelp and Evernote, and is an active investor in more than 100 startups.
Pieter Van der Does is the CEO and cofounder of Adyen, a global payment processing company. Prior to that, Pieter was a Chief Commerce Officer at Bibit Global Payment Services, which was acquired in 2004 by the Royal Bank of Scotland. He continued as a board member until 2006. After a sabbatical in Brazil, he co-founded Adyen. Pieter started his career in publishing and worked in New York, Oxford and Amsterdam. He has studied in Amsterdam and at the Sorbonne in Paris and earned his Master degree in Economics at the Universiteit van Amsterdam.
