a16z Bio + Health BUILD 2023 is our inaugural multi-day event hosted by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) that brings together a curated community of C-level executives, entrepreneurs, top academics and health policy experts, as well as other thought leaders who are focused on shaping and accelerating the future of bio and healthcare.

This invitation-only event provides a rare opportunity for attendees to make critical connections and engage in meaningful conversation as we lock arms and build efficient, productive and patient-centric translational research, development, and care delivery systems.

Am I able to bring my partner/spouse?

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate +1’s at this time.
I have a colleague who would like to attend. Can they also register?

Unfortunately, this event is by invitation only and non-transferable.

Lodging & Transportation

Does a16z cover any travel to/from the event?

a16z will provide group transportation to and from the Stein Eriksen Lodge and Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC); Wednesday June 7 – Friday June 9 based on provided flight information. The SLC airport is approximately a 50-minute ride to the hotel. Please make sure to share your flight details if you’d like to be included in our group transportation
Where will I stay?

Your registration confirmation ensures that your accommodation at Stein Eriksen Lodge for Bio + Health BUILD 2023 is reserved. a16z will cover the nightly room rate and tax for June 7 and June 8th. Guests will be responsible for any additional nights and incidental costs incurred during their stay.
When should I plan to arrive and depart?

Please refer to the Agenda section on the website to see the latest program. Please allow for enough time to arrive before the program starts at 5pm MST on Wednesday, June 7th. Registration opens at 3pm MST.
