Ross Shuel

Ross is a network operations associate for a16z crypto, helping portfolio companies throughout their governance lifecycles. His areas of focus include governance design, network launch, and continuous on-chain participation as networks mature. 

Prior to joining a16z crypto, Ross spent seven years in the U.S. Army, deploying to Afghanistan as an Army Ranger. He was drawn to crypto's potential to create an open, more equitable financial system.  

Ross is a proud graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point.
