More About Shannon
Shannon Schiltz is an operating partner at Andreessen Horowitz where she oversees HR as well as the firm’s People Practices team, which partners with a16z portfolio companies.
Prior to joining a16z in 2009, Shannon spent many years leading HR at technology companies, including both recruiting and HR at Loudcloud through the pivot to Opsware, and finally HP through the acquisition of Opsware by HP Software.
Shannon graduated with a degree in psychology from Santa Clara University. When not working with portfolio companies or growing Andreessen Horowitz, she loves to spend time with her husband, 3 kids, and 2 lovely dogs.
