JZ Young is a partner on the Talent Network team, focused on technical talent for Bio + Health.
Prior to joining a16z, JZ was a university recruiter with NetApp. She entered the staffing industry after college, starting as a coordinator with eBay.
JZ graduated with a BA in sociology from UC Berkeley. Originally from the Bay Area, she relocated to Las Vegas in 2020 with her husband and daughter. When she is not in the kitchen trying to use every pot and pan she owns, JZ can be found watching the Giants, Niners, and Warriors games.
