Peter Blackwood

Peter Blackwood is a partner on the Capital Network team, focused on consumer and gaming companies.

Prior to joining Andreessen Horowitz, Peter was an investment banker focused on capital raising and M&A for companies across the technology sector. Peter started his career at SoundView, where he focused on corporate finance needs of the firm's technology clients. He later worked for Janney Montgomery Scott, where he oversaw the firm’s technology and media investment banking group, and JMP Securities, where he led the firm’s internet and digital media banking group.

Peter graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a bachelor’s degree. When he’s not guiding our portfolio companies, he’s finding his way down the nearest river in search of elusive trout.
