Sam Thompson is a partner on the Go-to-Market team focused on creating strategic business opportunities and partnerships between the a16z portfolio, major cloud providers, and other tech companies. Before joining Andreessen Horowitz, Sam held multiple Go-To-Market roles at Amazon Web Services including selling to large enterprises and government agencies.
Sam graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a bachelors degree in finance, as well as a minor in real property development. When he isn’t engaged with portfolio companies or network partners, you can find Sam traveling, golfing, or passionately supporting his favorite sports teams.
