We’re thrilled to host you at a16z’s first AI Artist Retreat.

Artists are at the forefront of today’s AI platform shift. As new companies and products emerge along the creative stack, it is artists – professionals, hobbyists, tinkerers – who are bringing these tools and technology to life, inspiring millions to discover their own creativity along the way.

The AI Artist Retreat will bring together an intimate, curated group of artists, all leveraging AI to push the boundaries of creative expression and storytelling in their work.

Programming on Thursday, June 27 will include product briefings and demos led by cutting-edge AI creative tool companies, followed by a design workshop.

The event will conclude with a reception at a nearby gallery.

L O C A T I O N

The event will take place in Manhattan across various venues, including the newly opened Andreessen Horowitz Soho office. a16z will be covering travel and hotel accommodations. Details to follow.
T I M I N G

The retreat will open with a reception and dinner at 6:00pm on Wednesday, June 26, followed by a full day of programming and entertainment on Thursday, June 27. Please plan to depart no earlier than Friday morning, June 28.

Lodging & Transportation

Does a16z cover flights to/from the event?

a16z will provide coach class, roundtrip airfare to NYC. Once you’ve completed your registration form, a16z will be in touch to coordinate flight details.
Does a16z cover transportation to/from the event?

a16z will provide roundtrip car transportation June 26 and June 28 to/from the hotel and John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), LaGuardia Airport (LGA) or Newark International Airport (EWR).
Where should I stay?

Your registration ensures that your lodging is reserved from June 26-28, 2024. a16z will cover the nightly room rate and tax at Fouquet’s on Wednesday and Thursday evening only. We cannot guarantee hotel availability and pricing before/beyond those dates. Hotel confirmation numbers will be provided prior to the event.

If you do not need a hotel, please let us know by Friday, May 17 by emailing venture-programs@a16z.com.
When should I plan to arrive and depart?

Please refer to the agenda section for the latest program. Plan to arrive in time to be part of the kickoff event on Wednesday, June 26, at 6:00pm ET. Departures can begin anytime on Friday, June 28, 2024, as all programming will be concluded by that time.
