Before joining Andreessen Horowitz, James worked at Google in sales and partnerships, where he closed one of its largest ad manager customers. Before Google, he started and sold a popular consumer-services business in Utah.
James holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BS in economics from Brigham Young University. Fun fact: he makes gingerbread houses during the holidays. His 2022 gingerbread creation of a Harry Potter-inspired Hogwarts received more than 20M views across platforms and reshares!
