More About Mahad
Mahad Abedin is an assistant controller on the finance team.
Prior to joining a16z, Mahad was at Vista Equity Partners managing accounting and operations of their credit funds. He started his career in public accounting at KPMG where he focused on auditing a wide range of private investment funds.
Mahad graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics/accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara and is a licensed CPA (license currently inactive). Some of his passions include cooking and hosting dinner parties, spending time with his wife and daughter, and exploring new restaurants. He is also eagerly awaiting when his daughter is old enough to start ski lessons.
