Matthew Griffin is an analyst on the Fund Strategy team.
Prior to joining a16z, Matthew interned at White Oak Europe as an M&A analyst where he conducted research to develop growth strategies and performed due diligence on potential acquisition targets. He has also spent time working in DeFi where he focused on producing yield generating strategies and supported protocol development.
Matthew earned a BS in computer science and a minor in economics from Arizona State University. He also spent time studying at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He enjoys playing golf, spending time outdoors, and traveling the world.
