About
Melanie Galang is a partner on the venture marketing team, where she leads communications and brand strategy for the firm’s fintech vertical.
Prior to joining Andreessen Horowitz, she was the head of communications at the early stage venture capital firm Day One Ventures. Before that, she was a vice president at Moxie Communications Group, where she launched dozens of brands in the consumer technology space and worked closely with emerging startups to share their stories with the world.
Melanie graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in media studies. She spent her formative years in New York City and now lives in Los Angeles where she enjoys the beach, but misses dollar slices and bodega cats.
