More About Michele
Michele Hooper is a partner on the Finance team focused on procurement.
Prior to joining a16z, Michele implemented and grew procurement and sourcing teams for technology companies. First at Dassault Systemes, a global technology company based in Velizy, France, where she established their team for North America, which absorbed and integrated 25 acquisitions in 10 years. Later, Michele established the global procurement function and managed the implementation of a contract management system at Sitecore.
Michele earned a BA and an MBA from The University of New Hampshire in Durham. She is a New Englander with family roots as far back as the 1600’s where she carries on the family love for the coast of Maine. When not working, you can find Michele hiking coastal New England or traveling.
