More About Mike
Mike Kelly is the chief information officer where he oversees the information technology and real estate functions.
Prior to joining a16z, Mike was the senior vice president and chief information officer at Red Hat with responsibility for IT Strategy, Security, Analytics, Hybrid Cloud, Enterprise Applications, and IT Operations globally. In addition to his duties as CIO, Mike led the synergy and go to market efforts surrounding IBM’s acquisition of Red Hat. Before Red Hat, Mike was the senior vice president and chief information officer at McKesson where he led the technology function for several of McKesson’s business units as well as its global IT shared services organization during his tenure. Before that, he was the chief information officer at Oncology Therapeutics Network (OTN) where he was responsible for technology strategy and IT operations, including enterprise business applications, security, analytics, data center infrastructure, and a suite of revenue generating customer technology solutions.
Mike graduated with a bachelor of business administration degree in finance and accounting from Southern Methodist University. He also holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.
