Nathaniel is a senior product manager at Andreessen Horowitz focused on building products that power the firm’s network and investments.
Prior to joining a16z, Nathaniel was co-founder and CEO of Knowhere, where he led a team that built generative machine learning models to analyze and generate trustworthy news content, serving several million subscribers in the US with daily national and local coverage. Before that, Nathaniel worked in investment banking and private equity at Deutsche Bank and Oakley Capital, where he focused on M&A, capital raises, and buyouts for technology, media, telecoms, and healthcare businesses.
Nathaniel was born and raised in London, and graduated with a combined honors degree in philosophy, politics and international relations, and economics from Durham University in the UK. He is an avid skier, backpacker, off-roader, and student aviator, a keen reader of history and philosophy, and lifelong devotee of Arsenal Football Club. As a teenager, he was a nationally ranked track sprinter over 100 and 200m.
