More About Rodrigo
Rodrigo Ibarra is a partner on the Strategic Finance team.
Prior to joining a16z, he led strategic finance for Uber For Business where he scaled the B2B business globally, developing product offerings such as Rides, Eats, and Uber Health. He also worked in product finance, launching delivery products like Uber Connect and Uber Flash, and managed finance for Uber Pool and Uber Bus. Before that, Rodrigo worked as an investment banker at Evercore in the infrastructure practice.
Rodrigo graduated with a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from ITESO and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. He is fluent in English and Spanish, and enjoys water skiing and the beach, having grown up in Mexico.
