Shannon Barbour is a partner on the Talent Network team, focused on the board of directors practice for companies in the Growth portfolio.
Prior to joining a16z, she spent 6 years at GitHub leading global talent acquisition for engineering, product, and design. Before GitHub, she spent nearly 15 years in talent acquisition at various companies.
Shannon enjoys outdoor life and lives in the Sierra Mountains with her family. She has a passion for yoga and teaches locally in Tahoe.
