More About Stacia
Stacia Murray is a partner at Andreessen Horowitz where she leads events and experiences for the Cultural Leadership Fund and Talent x Opportunity Initiative.
Over the past two decades, Stacia has directed global events, marketing, and public relations for companies including GDIT, IBM, Salesforce, McDonald’s, Philip Morris USA (now Altria), and USGBC. She also founded and operated a full service event management and marketing company with clients including Adobe, BBC Americas, Fannie Mae and IBM. In 2019, she was asked to leave entrepreneurship to come onstaff to direct events for Grace Covenant, a global network of Christian Churches, missionaries and ministries. She accepted the appointment and led events, broadcasts and services, prior to joining a16z.
Stacia is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University where she studied mass communications, with a concentration in public relations. She also earned a Certification in Event Management from The George Washington University, School of Business. Stacia will search high and low for the best French macaron in any town she visits, and enjoys mountain biking, collecting 1:12 scale miniatures, live music, watching Formula 1, and sinking her toes in the sand of the most exotic beaches on the planet.
