Introducing the Talent x Opportunity Spring 2025 Cohort

Kofi Ampadu

We recently kicked off our latest Talent x Opportunity Initiative (TxO) cohort in San Francisco with founders from five promising startups building software-enabled companies across fashion, gaming, media, and music.

This group of founders embodies what TxO is all about–supporting entrepreneurs with the talent and drive to redefine industries that shape culture and community. These founders aren’t just launching businesses, they’re crafting immersive experiences, reimagining creative ownership, empowering emerging artists, and opening up exciting new ways to connect in both digital and physical spaces. And if our kick-off week is any indication, they are ready to tackle the challenges of company building that lie ahead as we dig into 16 weeks of TxO University.

Please join us in welcoming the newest TxO founders!

Taylor Morgan and Tyler Morgan, Destruction Labz

Taylor Morgan and Tyler Morgan, twin brothers born and raised in Los Angeles, California, are lifelong gamers with a passion for innovation. As engineers, they honed their skills at companies like Epic Games and AutoZone. In 2023, they launched Alley Katz, an NFT project designed to onboard users to web3 through gaming and streetwear. Inspired by this achievement, they founded Destruction Labz, a company dedicated to creating immersive gaming experiences that redefine entertainment for players and fans.

Mayowa Arogundade, Equal IQ

Mayowa Arogundade was born in Ibadan, Nigeria, and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He discovered his passion for music early on, which eventually led him to relocate to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the industry. Starting as a music artist and producer, he steadily built his reputation, later transitioning into creative executive roles at companies like Red Bull Records. Over the years, he has contributed to creative projects and campaigns for several Grammy-nominated artists. Motivated by a desire to enhance transparency and earnings for creatives, Mayowa founded Equal IQ—a platform designed to simplify legal tasks and rights management for creators and their teams.

Lindsay Perper, Rodeo

Lindsay Perper, a native of Charlotte, North Carolina and the eldest of three siblings, has always had a passion for both fashion and data. She began her career in operations at the fashion startup Jay Godfrey, where she gained hands-on experience across the entire fashion business lifecycle. After two years, she joined Ralph Lauren as a planner and quickly rose to become director of buying and planning for the women’s luxury and polo division. During the pandemic, Lindsay started creating fashion-focused content on social media, building a following of over 30K. Frustrated by the difficulty of sharing products with her audience, she launched Rodeo, a community-driven shopping platform that seamlessly delivers content-driven commerce.

Ashanti Abdullah, Ternwheel

Ashanti Abdullah, a Minneapolis, Minnesota native and lifelong music enthusiast, began his music career as an artist before transitioning into artist management at the Minneapolis-based record label Rhymesayers Entertainment. His early industry experience led him to launch his own artist management company, where he spent the next two decades managing some of the biggest names in music. Through this work, he saw firsthand how unorganized, inefficient, and financially unpredictable touring could be—despite being the primary revenue stream for artists. Frustrated by these challenges, he founded Ternwheel, a platform designed to help artists tour efficiently and profitably, ensuring they can build sustainable careers on the road.

Gregorio Torres and Andres Ginebra, Unisound

Gregorio Torres, originally from Colombia and raised in the Dominican Republic, developed a passion for music at an early age, teaching himself music production at just 12 years old. After college, he honed his skills as a studio engineer at Miami’s Rebel 11 Studios, working on projects for some of the music industry’s top artists. His co-founder, Andres Ginebra, who grew up alongside Gregorio in the Dominican Republic, shared a love for music and innovation from a young age. In college, Andres led his school’s Blockchain Club and after graduating joined Procter & Gamble where he worked on AI infrastructure projects for consumer brands. Together, Gregorio and Andres founded Unisound, a platform that simplifies music licensing and unlocks revenue opportunities for record labels, publishers, distributors, and creators.
