Michael Cialone is an associate on the Bio + Health team, focused on biotech. Michael supports the life sciences portfolio with financing and business development strategy, planning, and execution.
Prior to joining a16z, Michael co-led Wilson Sonsini’s Life Sciences Business Advisory practice supporting biotech and pharma clients across a broad range of corporate development, fundraising, and other strategic priorities. Prior to Wilson Sonsini, Michael held various corporate strategy roles at Sumitovant Biopharma and Pfizer. Michael is based out of Manhattan.
Michael graduated from The University of Vermont where he studied Finance and Pharmacology. Michael is a triplet (3 boys) and dreams of one day opening up an Italian restaurant.
