Troy is an Investment Partner at Andreessen Horowitz. As a Cohort Lead for a16z speedrun, Troy invests in B2B AI and creative tech companies—next-gen storytelling and design tools, marketing tech, 3D simulations, vertical AI agents and more. Troy’s investments include K-ID, Hedra, Backflip, Nunu.ai, Genway, Quago, Intangible, Schemata, Deep Prediction, Nexad, and more.
Before joining Andreessen Horowitz, Troy was a Senior Manager at Unity on the Corporate Strategy and Development team where he led over 20 acquisitions (incl. Parsec and IronSource) and spearheaded numerous strategic growth initiatives. He started his career in investment banking at Jefferies supporting media and tech clients.
Troy holds a B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at The University of Virginia. He lives in San Francisco but is a native New Yorker. He loves skiing, tennis, and exploring new places.
