Zahabiya Gabaji is a partner on the HR team.
Prior to joining a16z, Zahabiya worked at Snowflake where she started her career in recruiting before switching to the compensation team. While at Snowflake, she helped implement Workday, oversaw internal Comp Reviews, and scaled processes to support the company’s growth.
Zahabiya graduated with a degree in English and education from UC Berkeley. Zahabiya was born in Pakistan but grew up primarily in Southern California. She currently lives in the Bay Area and enjoys traveling, interior decorating, and experimenting with new recipes.
