Darin Malter is a controller on the Finance team at a16z.
Prior to joining a16z, Darin spent 10 years at IHS Markit, assisting in software development and managing outsourced service delivery for venture capital clients. Darin began his career at Accel Partners, focused on fund accounting, portfolio monitoring, and valuations.
Darin holds a BS in Finance from U.C Berkeley. He and his wife currently live in the Bay Area and are raising their first French bulldog puppy. In his spare time, Darin plays darts competitively and travels whenever possible.
