Mindy Isenstein is a partner at a16z Perennial where she leads the venture capital fund.
Mindy’s career spans investing, research, entrepreneurship, and institutional finance. She brings a deep understanding of the venture capital ecosystem, technology markets, and emerging innovation. With experience in both fund and direct investing, she has consistently identified high-potential managers and companies. In addition to her investing career, Mindy is a founder and began her career in technology risk consulting.
Prior to joining a16z, Mindy was a principal at TrueBridge Capital Partners, a venture capital fund-of-funds and direct investment firm where she contributed across the full investment process. Earlier in her career, Mindy was a vice president at Goldman Sachs, where she worked in the Equities and Global Investment Research divisions, covering the IT software and hardware industries.
She holds a BS in Systems and Information Engineering, with a concentration in Management Information Systems, from the University of Virginia.
