    Regrettably, we are unable to accommodate virtual participants as the purpose of this event is to promote open and candid discussions within a private setting.

  • How do I register?

  • Who are the attendees?

    This is an exclusive gathering for a curated community of industry executives and entrepreneurs, top academics and health policy experts, as well as other thought leaders who are focused on shaping and accelerating the future of health. Attendance is by invitation only.

  • How can I see who is registered?

    Prior to the event, all confirmed registrants will receive the registrant list with full names, companies, and titles. 

  • Am I able to bring my partner/spouse?

    Given limited capacity, this event is closed to spouses/partners and additional +1s. 

  • I have a colleague who would like to attend. Can they also register?

    Unfortunately, this event is by invitation only and non-transferable.

Lodging & Transportation

  • Does a16z cover any travel to/from the event?

    a16z will provide group transportation to and from the Stein Eriksen Lodge and Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC); Wednesday October 9 – Friday October 11 based on provided flight information. The SLC airport is approximately a 50-minute ride to the hotel. Please make sure to share your flight details if you’d like to be included in our group transportation.

  • Where will I stay?

    Your registration confirmation ensures that your hotel accommodation for Bio + Health BUILD 2024 is reserved. a16z will cover the nightly room rate and tax for October 9 and October 10. Guests will be responsible for any additional nights and incidental costs incurred during their stay. If you plan to check in early or extend your stay, we cannot guarantee our negotiated room rate, and will reach out if the hotel has limited availability and exceeds this.

  • When should I plan to arrive and depart?

    Please refer to the Agenda section on the website to see the latest program. Please allow for enough time to arrive before the program starts at 5pm MST on Wednesday, October 9th. Registration opens at 3pm MST. Programming concludes at 11am MST on Friday, October 11. To allow ample time at the airport prior to departure, plan to leave the hotel 2.5 hours before your flight.
