Cassady Churchill is a partner on the Talent Network team, focused on executive talent.
Prior to joining a16z, she was the first and only recruiter at a Series A startup, where she built the go-to-market teams from the ground up. Before that, she built the talent brand program at Cloudera, running internal and external campaigns and projects focused on diversifying the talent pool for Cloudera’s talent community.
Cassady graduated with a degree in Spanish, Portuguese, and Latin American literature from University of California, Berkeley. She is a Bay Area native and currently lives in San Francisco. Cassady didn’t learn how to read a book until she was 9 years old, but she could read music by the age of 5 and was composing music by the age of 7.
