About
Katie Kirsch is an Ecosystem Growth Partner at a16z, where she focuses on building connective tissue across the firm's network. Her work centers on products, programs, and systems designed to connect and unlock the most ambitious startup founders, operators, and technologists.
Prior to joining the firm, Katie ran a startup in the exec/leadership development space focused on founder and CEO coaching.
Over the years, Katie has also led creative consulting work at IDEO, launched nonprofits, taught entrepreneurship classes at Stanford’s d.school and Harvard’s Graduate School of Education, and become a certified professional development coach.
Katie has an engineering degree from Stanford and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Beyond entrepreneurship, she is passionate about women's health and education and has volunteered countless hours in Uganda and India to further these causes.
