More About Dawn
Dawn Nott is a partner on the People Practices team focused on advising Fintech portfolio companies.
Prior to joining a16z, Dawn was the vice president of people at Wish where she led global HR, recruiting, and workplace through their IPO in 2020. Before that, Dawn built and led the HR function at several high growth start-ups including Zenefits, Xamarin, and Yammer. Previously, she worked as a senior HR manager at Microsoft. Dawn also founded BlueHive HR where she advised early stage companies on their HR strategy and operations.
Dawn graduated with a degree in mass communications from U.C. Berkeley. She is a certified New Ventures West Integral Coach and an advisor at Sendoso and YOL. In her spare time, she loves hiking in the East Bay hills, reading non-fiction, and creating raw desserts with whacky ingredients like sweet potato.
