Robert McNeely is a partner on the People Practices team focused on advising a16z portfolio companies on compensation strategies.
Prior to joining a16z, Robert spent several years at Sonos, helping evolve post-IPO strategy and processes around compensation, total rewards, and M&A. Before that, he was a consultant at Mercer.
Robert graduated from USC Marshall School of Business and grew up in San Diego, California. A SoCal native, Robert likes to spend his free time in the sun, listening to music, and moonlighting as a chef/mixologist for his friends and family.
