About
Eric Zhou is a partner at Andreessen Horowitz, where he focuses on companies building at the application layer in Generative AI.
Prior to joining Andreessen Horowitz, Eric was a software engineer at Warp, where he worked on building a modern, AI-first terminal. Before that, Eric founded two companies; the first sold software to political campaigns, and the second, which was acquired by Beacons.ai, offered community management software to content creators.
Eric graduated from Stanford with a BS and MS in Computer Science. Ask him about the summer he spent working for a trucking company in Botswana, the newsletter he wrote with more than twenty thousand subscribers, or his latest hobby: drone slaying!
