Mario Linares is an Executive Talent Partner at Andreessen Horowitz, where he primarily focuses on working directly with seed founders in Enterprise, Fintech, Consumer, and American Dynamism portfolio companies.
Before joining Andreessen Horowitz, Mario was a Senior Executive Recruiter at YouTube. Prior to YouTube, he worked as an Executive Recruiter at VMware and Cisco, and also served as the Head of Talent Acquisition at many startups, including Nicira, an a16z backed company.
Mario received his Bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology from San Jose State University. As a former chef, he continues to enjoy experimenting in the kitchen in his spare time, always striving to create the perfect dish.
