Brandon Cherry is a partner on the People Practices team focused on advising portfolio companies on compensation strategies.
Prior to joining a16z, Brandon led the global reward, learning, and development teams at Credit Karma. Before that, he worked as a strategy and management consultant helping companies translate their business strategy into effective people programs and processes.
Brandon graduated with a degree in economics from Stanford University. Brandon was born and raised in a remote fishing village in Alaska and spent his summers working on various rivers across Southwest Alaska for the Department of Fish and Game conducting fish population studies.
