Ian Sharp is a partner on the Talent Network team where he leads the firm’s technical talent network.
Prior to joining Andreessen Horowitz, Ian built multiple technical staffing businesses from the ground up. He joined Google in 2005 as their first technical recruiter in London and spent the subsequent 15 years scaling and leading talent functions for a variety of teams including UK engineering, Americas sales, Ads engineering, Google [X], DeepMind US, and Google Health.
Ian graduated with a degree in information systems from Leeds University. When not working, you can find Ian enthusiastically cheering on his two water polo-playing sons, hunting powder with his snowboard, and walking his faithful English labrador in the great outdoors.
