Jen Mumford is a partner on the People Practices team focused on advising early-stage and Consumer portfolio companies.

Prior to joining a16z, Jen led people and culture teams for U.S. and international markets at a high-growth fintech startup and has been the first HR hire at a number of early-stage companies. Earlier in her career, she was a senior consultant in Deloitte’s management consulting practice.

Jen graduated with degrees in economics and commerce from the University of Western Australia. An Aussie based in New York, she loves hot yoga, any high-intensity exercise, and the UFC.
