Jamal Mohammed is a principal product engineer at Andreessen Horowitz focused on building software for the firm and its network.
Prior to joining a16z, he was responsible for the backend services and platform for the family safety apps at Microsoft. Before that, he worked in the 0 to 1 phase at multiple startups in India where he built the entire architecture from the ground up.
Jamal holds an undergraduate degree in computer science and engineering. He loves all things guitar: collecting them, playing them, and figuring them out.
