Jason is a principal product engineer at Andreessen Horowitz where he leads front-end development of software for the firm and its network.
Prior to joining a16z, Jason led front-end engineering at Baton, a freight logistics startup that developed technology to solve the biggest inefficiencies in the supply chain. He joined Baton as the first engineer at the seed stage through its acquisition by Ryder in 2022. Before that, Jason spent time working at several startups and freelancing..
Jason graduated with an undergraduate degree in computer science from the University of Waterloo. Outside of engineering, he enjoys traveling, playing volleyball and basketball, and weight lifting.
