About
Michael is a Staff Product Designer at Andreessen Horowitz leading design for products that power the firm’s network and investments.
Prior to a16z, Michael spent over a decade working in VC and startups. Most recently he was the lead designer at NFX, a seed VC, focused on building AI tools for founders and investors. Before that, he led design for Nextdoor’s marketplace, and earlier in his career was one of the first marketing hires at Greylock Partners.
Michael has a degree in Art History with an emphasis in Architecture and the Environment from UC Santa Barbara. An SF native, in his free time he loves cooking, playing piano, gardening, and spending time with his wife and dog Rex.
