More About Josie
Josie Ma is a partner on the Strategic Finance team.
Prior to joining a16z, she was most recently the global head of finance for Amazon’s Last Mile Hub business where she led a global finance team exercising controllership for all Hub products, and supporting various new initiatives for existing and emerging Amazon Hub operated countries. Before that, Josie worked in various strategic finance roles at Uber, National General, AIG, and fixed income funding at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp.
Josie graduated with a master’s degree in global finance from NYU Stern and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a bachelor’s degree from University at Buffalo. She is a native New Yorker, loves to travel, and volunteers as an advisor for the Built by Girls program.
